Mr. Deanovic is a founding principal of Buhl Investors. His responsibilities encompass many phases of the investment process, including acquisitions, financings, and dispositions. Prior to joining Buhl, Deanovic was one of four investment managers that directed North American Real Estate investment activity for CarVal Investors. His commercial real estate experience spans multiple markets and product types. Mr. Deanovic holds a B.B.A. in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He is an active board member of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association and currently sits on the Investment Committee at GHR Foundation. Deanovic is a former speaker at IMN’s Real Estate Private Equity conference and a former board member of Young Ambassadors for Opportunity, an international micro-finance organization.

Ms. Matz is Chief Financial Officer for Buhl Investors. Her responsibilities encompass overseeing Buhl’s financial performance, investment portfolio and investor relations. Prior to joining Buhl, Ms. Matz was a director at CarVal Investors where she managed general business operations, investment strategy and asset management of its real estate portfolios across multiple product types and throughout North America. Matz earned a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science degree in business from the University of South Dakota. She is an active speaker at IMN’s Real Estate Private Equity Forums and current board member for the International Wolf Center and Milkweed Editions.

Mr. Mohagen is a director at Buhl Investors. He is responsible for creating and maintaining financial models, preparing financing requests, managing draw processes, performing due diligence and lease/construction contract review. His real estate experience includes multiple product types including self-storage, retail, office and industrial in the Twin Cities market. Mr. Mohagen holds a BSBA in Finance from the University of Denver and is an active member of NAIOP Minnesota.
